>Westerley CC Club 10

>To Hillingdon again for the 11 lap Westerley CC club 10m TT. Another breezy night.

I was credited with a 28:42 but the Garmin says 28:24 (27:16 at the 10 mile point of this slightly long course). Never mind, it’s a training race. A circuit 10 is a nice variation on the usual events, but it must be a nightmare for the lap counter and timekeeper to manage.

Kudos to Team Passey for their rides and to Jumbo for beating me (dammit). It was good to meet new Willesden CC member Andy who beat evens on his lo-pro Moulton.

Race stats: 10.41 miles in 28:42 (21.76mph) or 28:24 (21.99mph). ? out of ? finishers. Slowest mile (8): 2:47 (21.56mph). Fastest mile (1): 2:41 (22.36mph). Top speed: 28.1mph. First 5 miles: 13:35, next 5 miles: 13:41. Max heart rate: 164bpm, average HR: 160bpm. Winners: Dave Newman and Malcolm Woolsey (Westerley CC) 25:27 (TBC).
